Solar System Courtyard Safety Guidelines
The Solar System Courtyard is an educational tool that you (JSAA Students) can use to learn fun and exciting facts about the planets and mathematical concepts. Although you can have a blast with the solar system, your safety is the top priority. With that in mind, please be respectful and follow the rules below: - Only walk on the planets to take measurements.
- Please do not go on the planets if they are icy or slippery after a storm or in the winter time.
- Do not attempt any daredevil stunts pertaining to the planets. (i.e. jump off the planets, jump over the planets, etc…)
- Walk at all times when taking measurements. (Power walking is a good strategy if you are trying to measure in a quick time)
- When taking the measurements, be conscious of other students.
- Be aware of your surroundings so you do not collide with anyone.
- Follow your teacher’s instructions.
- Please be respectful of the planets and keep them in good condition.
- Have fun and learn about facts that are OUT OF THIS WORLD!
